      Brussels Visit

      5th - 7th June 2012 inclusive

      Date and time of departure: Tuesday 5th June depart from 2 locations in the East Midlands to be confirmed. First departure approximately 08:30.

      Date and time of EP visit: Wednesday 6th June. The visit into the European Parliament will be at 11:30am when you will be addressed by the visitor service and time to talk to Bill Newton Dunn. We see the hemicycle where the voting takes place. We will leave Parliament at 14:00 and enjoy a sightseeing tour of Brussels or a visit to a chocolate factory or brewery. In the evening we enjoy a meal with Bill at Chez Leon restaurant (meal subsidised), all you need to buy are drinks. Rest of the evening free.

      Date and time of return: Thursday 7th June. We depart for home after breakfast in the hotel with a stop off at a chocolate factory shop.

      Subsidised places: The trip will be subsidised by Bill Newton Dunn. The cost of the trip will be £200 per person and £70 for a single room supplement. Your subsidy of approximately 110 euros will be paid out whilst in the Parliament (amount decided on distance of travel).

      Channel Crossing: P & O Stena Line DoverCalaisDover.

      Hotel: Floris Ustel Hotel Brussels - close to Brussels Midi Station.

      Please note; all persons travelling are required to complete an application form. Please reserve your place by 27th February 2012 with Julie Hirst to guarantee the trip will run. A deposit of £50 is required with booking and the balance to be paid by 23rd April.

      For schools and colleges please note an application form must be filled in by each person travelling.

      Booking and paying for your visit - please read carefully.

      You must be 18 or over at the time of booking and be present on the visit for its entire duration to be able to claim your subsidy. Students travelling with staff from a school or college must be over 14.

      When you book you should pay the deposit of £50 per person and the balance must be received by 23rd April 2012. If the balance is not paid by the appropriate date it will be assumed that you wish to cancel your booking and the service provider (Rondo Travel) will be entitled to keep all deposits paid.

      Bookings can be transferable to another party if you are unable to go. Once you have booked and paid, a contract will exist between us. The contract is binding and you must be aware of and accept the whole of the contract and the obligations contained in it. Before travelling, please make sure your passport is up to date and where needed, your visa is valid. If you need a letter from your doctor to travel please send me a copy.
