Liberal Democrats in Ibstock, Heather and Battram are delighted that local campaigner Kim Wyatt has agreed to stand in the forthcoming council by-election, caused by the resignation of a Labour Councillor, just 6 months after she was elected.
Kim lives with her husband, David, at 72 Copson Street, Ibstock LE67 6LB. Kim knows our area and the problems we face. Kim is a secondary school teacher.
Her current campaigning priorities include improving protecting our local green fields and fighting for better local services for Ibstock, Heather and Battram. Kim says, "I am not a professional politician, I'm just a local resident who cares deeply about our area and wants to get things done for our community."
