Sarah Hill, Leicestershire PCC Election

April 27, 2016 1:00 PM

Sarah Hill, Leicestershire PCC Candidate

On Thursday 5th May, you will get to vote for the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Police and Crime Commissioner.

I'm standing as the Lib Dem Candidate in order to:

  • By ensuring a more visible police presence on our streets I will work to stamp out the low level crimes that cause daily misery in many of our communities.
  • Revolutionise Neighbourhood Watch to make it more effective in tackling crime.
  • Working with other organisations to tackle the causes of crime, such as mental health.
  • Slash the cost of the Police and Crime Commissioner's office.

If you support these aims and would like to help me get elected, here are some small things you can do to help me:

Like and Share our Message on Social Media

The Lib Dem team have put some graphics up on Facebook and Twitter to help make people aware of what we are standing for at this election. If you are able to "like", "retweet" and "share" these pictures, it could really help inform people of their choices in the coming election.

We have also put together a petition for you to sign and share!

Help Spread the Word Locally

We have a number of leaflets that can explain to people in your area what we stand for and what we hope to do. Would you be willing to deliver some in your area to help inform your neighbours? Or perhaps you would like to meet the team and campaign alongside us?

Either way, get in touch and we'll give you the materials you need to get going.

Put up a Poster in Your Window

Let people know that there's an election on and that you're supporting the Liberal Democrat candidate at this election.
