The Baroness Barker is to be our keynote speaker and guest at our Autumn 2013 conference & AGM, Saturday 2nd November, Oundle, Northants.

Liz Barker, well known to many activists in the party has been President of Liberal Youth & Students, Chair of Federal Conference Committee and was elevated to the Lords in 1999. Baroness Barker has championed the cause of Equal Opportunities for years.

There are some innovative ideas for your participation in conference & AGM, watch out for details of the programme coming later.

You can book for conference (book early and take advantage of the special offers) by either using the booking form and sending it with your cheque, or pay by Paypal via the donate button below.

£6.00 Early Bird rate (to end of July 2013), Students Free.

£7.00 (1st August to end of August 2013), Students Free.

£10.00 (September) - Concession £7.00, Students Free.

Concession = unemployed, the dependent spouse of an unemployed, on income support, a full time student or if your only income is the state pension.

We will break for lunch and there are many small cafes, bars, eateries along the main road through Oundle.

  • The Free Long Stay Car Park in Benefield Road 7 or 8 minutes from the Victoria Hall
  • The Free Long Stay Car Park off East Road - 8 minutes walk.
  • Drumming Well Lane ( the lane behind the Talbot Hotel and the School Great Hall, but it is likely to be full on a Saturday morning.: there is a footpath direct to West Street from the south end.)
  • Milton Road, in front of the Oundle School Chapel.( 5 minutes walk )
  • Glapthorn Road
  • Perhaps Black Pot Lane
  • The Talbot Hotel Car Park - when and if booking lunch there.
